RUI AN is assisting in organizing the 37th Joint Annual Conference of Biomedical Science and has invited Dr. Hoofnagle to Taiwan to conduct three lectures on the applications and developments of mass spectrometry in clinical field.
Dr. Hoofnagle's laboratory focuses on researching and developing novel biomarker detection methods using mass spectrometry for patient treatment. The research projects encompass the entire life cycle of biomarkers, from discovery to clinical research applications, and the development of robust and scalable clinical care approaches. Research areas include cancer, cardiovascular diseases, performance-enhancing drugs in sports, nutrition, diabetes, metabolism, and dementia.
Special thanks to Dr. Hoofnagle for visiting the mass spectrometry laboratory established by RUI AN at National Taiwan University Hospital.
